Dear English-speaking audience, your media do not understand why the Boing777 was shot over Ukrainian territory and what is really happening here.

I am now in Ukraine and I have fresh info directly from fighters on the ground. Ukraine is not having civil war between its pro-Russia and pro-Ukraine population. If this conflict was just between Ukrainians it would have been over long time ago, or would not even start, to be more accurate. Not only that pro-Russian separatists are armed by Russia and led by Russian specialists, such as former FSB officer Strelkov, but Russian military is openly participating in fighting on separatists' side - sending men to Ukraine and shelling Ukraine.

As of now, parts of Ukrainian army near the border are encircled by separatists from the west and Russian army from the east. Russian army is firing short range Grad missiles on them. They are screaming for help, since they have no weapons to fight against Russian heavy artillery.

Ukraine's government does not dare to call this a Russia-Ukraine WAR, but calls it Antiterrorist operation, simply because Ukraine is not strong enough to fight Russia alone. We don't even know how many people Ukraine already lost in this war. Maybe 1000, maybe much more.

Our Western partners - the EU and the USA - left Ukraine alone to fight on its own for its independence from Russia, which basically think they are still USSR and the Cold war never finished.

Yes, Putin is a killer. But those innocent passengers of Boing777 paid the price for their political and business leaders indifference and decision to let Russia get away with attacking Ukraine.

I remember NATO official form France was saying that international community should not exaggerate the magnitude of Crimea occupation and possible occupation of mainland Ukraine by Russia because it's just a "Ukraine -Russia conflict". Well, it is not. Russia-sponsored terrorists have no borders and Ukraine is the geographical center of Europe after all. European citizens should blame their leaders for not caring enough about their security. God bless their souls.(c)Olena Tregub
